aced it on my second run!!! honestly as the other reviewers have stated, a lot of potential in this! I'm not sure how far you plan on going with this creation, but i would love to see what you are made of and what you can do. as someone who was born in the late 80's i will state from my experiences from growing up, this brings back a concept in gaming where the challenge was to see how far you could go without dying. As the save option was introduced, creators and players abused that way too much and made games shittier. i came from an era where you had to actually earn your stripes with what you had in order to achieve your goal. i mean those were the times, where you get to the point in the gameplay where no matter what you do, you just can't survive a wave of bad guys that make you cry out in frustration because fate decided to shit on your progress. The save option when it came out was great when it came to games like Mario bros., Metroidvania games, massive level games, like doom and contra. those were amazing because it was about sending a wave of mechanics for the player to try to either work to over come an obstacle as they progressed through story, now a days it's about using broken mechanics in 3d world that only go so far without making the game repetitive and mundane while using epic graphics in order mesmerize the consumer. creators have forgotten that in order to make a good game you have to make it difficult enough to frustrate the player from the error of their own skills. if they start whinning because they don't have the chops to get past it then you're good!! So as i digress i see a lot of potential in the creation that you have, i mean i wouldn't mind if you came up with bigger creatures to take down that either solo you, or tag team you. That i actually haven't seen in awhile. The story for itself. As for the power ups, honestly, in my opinion all you need is health and ammo pick ups and that's it. as far as movement goes, all i would add is a dodge button or a tumble just to give the hunter more finesse. other than that the only final touch i would add would be a different assortment of weapons and then your game would be complete. how ever difficult the battle would be based pretty much on the boss creatures you add in as a challenge. so as i've said i'm really intrigued with the direction you are taking this game and honestly i will be keeping a lookout for upcoming projects, Good Job! :D
